Billy Gray,
Editorial Intern
billy(at)nerve.com |
Billy Gray was raised in the gin-soaked, Cheever-esque wilds of Westchester County. A movie buff, his Harvard thesis research entailed little more than video store late fees in its investigation of the 1980s John Hughes canon. He is a retired swimmer whose proudest achievement in the sport was prank calling Michael Phelps about a failed drug test. His current fitness regime includes climbing the stairs of his East Village walk-up.

Joe Bernardi,
Editorial Intern
joe(at)nerve.com |
Joe Bernardi relocated from Boston to Brooklyn to figure out the future, as presented to him by the recent economic downturn and his apparent entitlement problem. He buys records, thinks about video games too much, drinks and considers Ralph Wiggum the worst Simpsons character. These also tend to be the subjects of his writing, but since moving into a loft that’s more fort than apartment, he’s mostly interested in getting some sleep.

Cyriaque Lamar,
Editorial Intern
cyriaque(at)nerve.com |
Cyriaque Lamar was named after his French great-grandfather, who in turn was named after the French patron saint of epileptics. He has contributed to Cracked.com and wrote and directed the neo-Brechtian, sci-fi political satire America 20XX for The 2008 New York International Fringe Festival. He’s also a proud New Jerseyan, enjoys Italo disco and holds an M.A. in Political Science for reasons unknown even to him.

Sean McGurn,
Photo Intern
sean(at)nerve.com |
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Sean McGurn is currently pursuing his BFA
in Photography, with a minor in Financial Ruin, at Pratt Institute.
Nerve came to Pratt one day and told him he could look at nudie pics all
day long as a legitimate part of his long-term career goals. His father
would be very proud. When not shooting for friends and clients, he can
be found in dimly lit studios, recording music until the wee hours of
the morning. He's also often seen in the clubs and bars of NYC,
shamelessly plugging his website.
