Actually, Magnum does see his wife, Michelle, again. Twice. The second time was a different actress, but either way, she blew up in a car explosion. Whether his daughter did or not is still an open question, I believe.

Also, they did go back to Viet Nam once, though they went under the ruse of rescuing a buddy from Cambodia. But they did make a peace, of sorts, with the country.
