We at the Remote Island got a screener for Important Things With Demetri Martin,
which premieres on Comedy Central February 11th at 10:30. Don't ask us
what we had to do to get this screener, we prefer not to discuss the
sordid details. Regardless, we have now viewed the premiere episode,
and are happy to report it's great. (UPDATE: We have now watched next week's "Power" episode as well, and are happy to report it is just as funny as the first, and has an excellent fat, depressed superhero skit.) After the jump, video of the very

lovely Amanda Peet) and Demetri illustrating some data on bathroom
trips.
Perhaps the best thing about Demetri Martin having his own Comedy
Central show, though, is that it will be that much more difficult for
