Perhaps no character in the annals of filmdom is more beloved -- or behated -- than the Angry Police Captain.  Perpetually on the boil, a poor judge of talent, and like as not the one who will demand the badge and gun of the one cop capable of solving the case, his dislike of his renegade, hotshot subordinates is matched only by his hot temper and hot coffee.
