release of the new Batman movie
got us thinking about the next one, for which Christian Bale has
already expressed interest, and how we feel it needs to include a
certain element that's been missing from the first
two...

...a really sexy female villain.

Catwoman appeared in Batman Returns in the form of Michelle Pfeiffer, but some people compared her unfavorably to Julie Newmar, who created the role for the TV series. Irregardless of acting talent, which of the two would you rather...?

From the warriors (O-Ren Ishii) to the grieving mothers (Pamela Voorhees) to the straight up Wicked Witch of the West. On our list? Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty and Peyton Flanders in The Hand that Rocked the Cradle. Oh wait, what about Alex Forrest in Fatal Attraction and Hedy Carlson in Single White Female? Can they be considered villains exactly? And why do all these women have men's names? Wow, thinking about bad girls can get confusing. Thankfully, After Ellen has a good breakdown of what makes a great female movie villain. So while we get this whole thing sorted out you go ahead and tell us your favorite knife-wielding, stiletto-stabbing, mean ass women in film.
