OK, in all seriousness: we don't think we've ever been happier about a headine. It's like a Mad Lib, right? What else could you jam in there, aliens? Tara Reid? Alien Tara Reid?

Anyway, turns out that one of the Nazi hookers that Max Mosley was screwing in that 5-hour orgy tape is married to an MI5 agent, who has since resigned from the British intelligence services, and there are hints -- soundly denied by the Brits -- that the orgy might only have been part of something even larger...

In an extraordinary turn of events yesterday, MI5 was forced to deny through Whitehall channels that the orgy had been a “sting” that it had set up to discredit Mosley. “Any suggestion that the service was involved in setting up Mosley is total nonsense,” a senior Whitehall official said.

Interesting article yesterday on the complicated business dealings of we entrepreneur Richard J. Gordon, who with his company DTI has "yoked together disparate endeavors that support pornography, the Bible, and prevention of animal abuse — all by marrying the universal purchasing power of credit cards to the respectability conveyed by slick Web sites."

There are no official numbers on the pornography industry. But those who have studied its operations view DTI as a pivotal player in the world of pornography. “DTI appears to rank in the top 1 percent of adult entertainment companies in the world,” said M. J. McMahon, publisher of AVN Online, an Internet news site covering the industry.

The gist of the article seems to be that Gordon's non-smut customers may not have been aware of his involvement in companies like ClubLove, who gained prominence when they sold the Pam Anderson / Tommy Lee sextape back in the golden olden days of the web. Which, you know, OK. They don't wanna associate with that, we don't guess they have to. Still, it does seem like kind of a joke to us every time someone does business with a successful-yet-slightly-shady internet company and then they're like "Wha? Boobies?" (You guys know we get paid by the Sicilian Mafia here at Nerve, right?)

We wish we could take credit for the CAPS!!! but that would be News of the World's doing. Anyway, as much as we wanna be able to say that people should be able to do whatever they like, and how much it sucks that someone either stole a tape from him or taped him with what one presumes to be the intent to blackmail/destroy him, the whole father angle is just too weird for us to get behind. Like, if for no other reason than we're Elvis Costello fans (hence the headline), we think the guy should just quit.

Former employees of Alejandro Sanz are currently being prosecuted for, among other things, attempting to extort money from the hugely succesful Spanish recording artist with, it has been alleged, a tape showing him in an MFM-threeway with a certain other Latin-language superstar. A home-made tape could involve Spanish singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz, Colombian pop diva Shakira and her boyfriend, Antonio de la Rúa, in sexual intercourse together aboard a yacht owned by Sanz.
According to Internet portal Infobae.com, the tape is being held by the prosecutors evaluating the case against Carlos González and his wife, Sylvia Alzate, Sanz ex-employees who are accused of extortion against the artist.
This morning, People en Español released an article citing that both artists' agencies have denied the existence of such a tape.

However, that hasn't stopped radio DJ's from mentioning the tape on the air and getting rumor out there. Defamer points out that if the tape exists, and becomes part of the proceedings in the prosection of Sanz's would-be blackmailers, it would certainly make its way online -- but we're not so hopeful. Strike that: we're wayyyyyy hopeful; we're just not optimistic. Anyway, since you already know what Shakira looks like, have a gander at the two fellas who may have touched peepees or something.

Bookies in Kuala Lampur are refusing to take bets on what hotel room a former Malaysian government minister was supposedly filmed in for a now infamous sex tape. The tape scandal caused the minister to resign, but the bookies aren't refusing for ethical reasons.

"The last time we accepted bets after a particular set of numbers was published on the front page of a Chinese daily, we were badly hit and lost several million ringgit [Malaysian currency]."

That particular bet? The death toll after the bombing of an Egyptian report. We hardly think this compares, but like we said, they're not doing this for ethical reasons.

Vivica A. Fox Caught on Phonecam Giving Copperhead?

Former Deadly Viper Assassination Squad member and occasional Fitty GF Vivica A. Fox might be wishing she could actually murder people right about now. Namely an ex- who, it's alleged, filmed her surreptitiously while receiving oral favors.

Atlanta blogger Sandra Rose contends that the cad captured the intimacy with his cell phone and that he later e-mailed friends the footage of Fox "on her knees." One of those friends forwarded the e-mail to Fox, who has sought advice from "a friend at the Atlanta Police Department," according to Rose.

The Guy in Red Was A Malaysian Health Minister Until a Sextape Scandal

Malaysian Minister of Health Chua Soi Lek has resigned following his infidelities being revealed in pretty much the worst way we can imagine: by having them secretly videotaped and then dropped in random mailboxes.

The discs were reportedly dropped into the postboxes of selected houses and shops in Muar and Batu Pahat. Residents found the discs on Sunday morning.

The name of the minister involved is said to have been written on the DVD cover.

Mike Nizza at the New York Times reports that the two-volume opus was even "peddled on streetcorners" like pirated copies of Harry Potter or something. Yeesh, huh?

The craziest thing about this story to us, though, is that whoever clandestinely taped Mr. Chua and his "personal friend" is being sought for unlawful distribution of obscenity, (which might explain why most of Chua's initial statements regarding the matter could be boiled down to "I didn't make the tape myself").

Police are investigating the distribution of the DVDs containing obscene material under Section 292 of the Penal Code.
Amer advised those in possession of the DVDs to hand them over to the police.

We're beginning to wonder if High School Musical isn't cursed. Maybe Sunday or Monday, you guys heard about this whole "somebody tried to blackmail the royal family" story, and were eagerly awaiting cocaine- and sextape-laden updates throughout the week? We sure were. And what did we get? Nothing. Nada. Bupkis. In fact, there's so little evidence of the story ever even existing, we're wondering if Dr. Mierzwiak hasn't been fumbling around with our lobes a little. (We know: British H.R.H.'s get all sorts of cool perks, like anonymity in the press and other things that could kill a story like this. But still!)

So, in the interest of posterity, be sure and check out the above article, and here's the original from which it's based. Also, for novelty's sake, here are Google caches of two polls (1, 2) on the NY Post's website which ask "Which Royal made the tape?" Of particular note is the absence on the list of possibilities of Prince Andrew aka Randy Andy, who's apparently had a bit of a reputation for some time, but didn't make the cut. Also of note: looks like they eventually decided to take The Queen off the list of possible culprits. Which we're guessing is less a matter of regret or external pressure and more their realizing: who needs an Elizabeth II sextape when Helen Mirren's still around?
