Normally, we don't link to the Fail Blog or even the creative ripoff-- wait for it, wait for it-- Total Fail Blog, a personal stance we arrived at after realizing there's no proof these images aren't doctored.

With this photo, we couldn't care less, because it's awesome.

Nature FAIL? Debatable... but vagina FAIL? Hey, you guys can do what you want, we're sticking around to buy this cougar a drink...

By the way, in trying to research the above photo (anyone have any idea where this lovely lady rock formation resides?), we discovered the other semi-famous vagina cave, an historical find which we will explore vigorously and report back on...

American artist Spencer Tunick, known for his photos of mass amounts of nude people in public places, has always had trouble with the law in his homeland. So for the past several years, he's been making glorious photos abroad... glorious, glorious photos...

The above photo is from a June shoot in Dublin Bay, Ireland. We've been unable to find sufficient photos direct from Spencer's camera; we're showing the AP photo so you don't have to miss out. The below is from his record-breaking photo shoot in Barcelona last year:

For the above photo, Tunick had his models arrive at a closed-off boulevard before sun-up, hoping to avoid traffic accidents and too much gawking from the locals. It worked-- in spite of frigid temperatures, over seven thousand people participated, besting the previous record of 4,500 by an Australian photographer.

The above photos are from his 18,000 person shoot in Mexico City, via, in May of last year.

Now, Tunick is about to launch a major new show in London (check out his website and its excellent opening photo for more.) The exhibit, which opens September 5th, is entitled "Adventures in Architecture," and may shed some light on what Tunick's aim is... besides to get as many people naked as possible, of course:

This show at Hales Gallery focuses on his works which operate against the backdrop of architectural forms, integrating the massed soft forms with the harder angular elements of the various buildings he chooses to appropriate.

When we first looked at this free-standing bathtub with built-in bookshelves we thought, "that's silly, the books will get wet." Then we remebmered that we keep a ton of books and magazines in the bathroom. In fact, we have a whole collection of "bathroom books." We know they'll get a little warped and we're ok with that; it gives them extra character

So next time we have $17,000 and a big house with a big, empty bathroom, we're totally getting this Bibilo tub.

Scanner Highs and Lows: The Week We Learned to Appreciate Our Bodies Just the Way They Are

We spent the week contemplating our belly buttons, boobs, bellies and butts. And in the end, we appreciate what nature gave us a little bit more than we did when the week began. How about you?

Highs:

This woman's ginormous breasts (NSFW) made us appreciate the lightness of being small chested just a litlte bit more.

These women like their butts just the way they are. OK, lies! They want them bigger.

This body of work got us more excited than anything all week.

France wants children to learn about their bodies.

We ogled Christina Aguilera's baby body.

We're not sure if this is a high or a low, but Lindsay Lohan's body. 'Nuff said.

Lows:

Gene Simmons made a sex tape. While wearing a t-shirt. And the girl was wearing flip flops. This also made us appreciate our bodies in so, so many ways.

Courtney Cox needs a fucking sandwich. STAT!

This man claims to have appreciated Barack Obama's body in the nineties. But we're not buying it. Obama has much better taste!

This man appreciates art and his dick.

Today in Architectural Porn: Library Staircase

There are so many things that excite us about the idea of having a library built into a staircase, including but not limited to having a staircase, living in one place long enough to invest in a staircase that doubles as a library, and putting our books on something that wasn't hauled in from the street.

What's even sexier is that this London staircase leads to a bedroom. If our trip to our bedroom was through a magical world of books every night, in an apartment with stairs, we'll we'd just be set for life.

Limited by space, we melded the idea of a staircase with our client's desire for a library to form a 'library staircase' in which English oak stair treads and shelves are both completely lined with books. With a skylight above lighting the staircase, it becomes the perfect place to stop and browse a tome. The stair structure was designed as an upside down 'sedan chair' structure (with Rodrigues Associates, Structural Engineers, London) that carries the whole weight of the stair and books back to the main structural walls of the building. It dangles from the upper floor thereby avoiding any complicated neighbour issues with the floors below.

While we forsee a possible drunken trip hazard on the opposite-lenth stairs, we've never been so excited by architecture.
