  • We Say Goodbye to The Bootylicious "Hitman" Poster

Maybe you saw or heard about the (perhaps overly revealing) poster for Hitman, the film adaptation of the video game series which starred a deeply miscast Timothy Olyphant -- and which bombed at the box office last month? OK, maybe you didn't. Certainly you didn't see the flick. We sure as hell didn't. We've pretty much subscribed whole hog to UK critic Mark Kermode's theory about video games and movies, actually. But that's neither here nor there. Here's why we bring it up, and why we love living in the big city: because for weeks now, you can't walk past a copy of the Hitman poster in the subways without finding someone's attempt to rip out the part showcasing Olga Kurylenko's superb, barely clad backside. • Spirit Airlines Executives Need to Watch More Smut

"Many Islands, Lower Fares" isn't a bad tagline for an airline promotion. We bet it sounds pretty good on daytime radio. But you know what would have been better? Um, how about anything that didn't acronymize into a porno term?

The fire sale by Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Spirit Airlines promises "Many Islands, Low Fares" deals as low as $9 for future travel dates between Fort Lauderdale and the Bahamas.

While the prices may be right, it's that promotional acronym that's raised eyebrows among customers and now has the company feeling "uncomfortable."

Before MILF became shorthand for a Spirit Airlines promotion, the acronym hit the mainstream as an obscene descriptor of a mother considered to be sexy.

Sadly the fare sale ended last night at midnight, but don't worry: you can still apply online for the Spirit Airlines frequent flyer program. It's called the Mile High Club! ZING! Thanks everyone, we'll be here all week!
