Batiashvili, the 29- or 30-year-old violinist from the nation of
Georgia, played three shows with the New York Philharmonic over the
weekend. By the time we heard of and fell in love with her, the
available tickets were well out of our price range. That's the problem
with going to see opera and classical music-- we'd love to see more of
it, but we don't feel we're getting our money's worth at Madison Square
Garden prices unless its practically an historic occasion.
Based on the reviews, we missed some stunning performances and, of course, a chance to gape at this very pretty woman...
