  Last night we went to BUST magazine's SXSW party at the Mohawk, where the surprise headliners were Dinosaur, Jr.  Emily was just saying that she better not leave Austin without at least making out with someone, so we split off from Scanner Brian, who she was calling BF and who might be mistaken for her bf. • Happy St. Patrick's Day From Our Drunk Arses to Yours

  Nice job we did on Scanner today, eh? No matter, it's St. Patrick's Day and 3/4 of the team is currently gadding about a town full o' parties. To get you in the spirit of the day, here's a favorite by the Pogues, "Sunny Side of the Street." Incidentally, I just strolled down the shady side of the street to Austin's wonderful indie bookstore Book People, because when you're as pale as my Irish American arse, you don't ever walk in the sun if you can help it.
