Obviously,
Eliot Spitzer was not the first, nor will he be the last, politician to
"go down" because of a sex scandal. For better or for worse, Spitz is
being compared to Louisiana Senator David Vitter,
a patron of the Canal Street Madam. (I'd say for worse, since Vitter
still hasn't resigned and, for some reason, the Justice Dept, which was
so concerned with Spitzer's transgressions, never paid any attention to
Vitters') But, since the issue has "come up," we thought we'd ask you
to compare the two.
