Every once in a while, we
like to bring you breaking news from Myanmar. Why? Because Scanner is
global and political and serious as a freaking heart attack. We’re reading The
Economist right now. In French. Well, today we have a story about porn films, condoms, and dildos recently confiscated from a Myanmar monastery. Hmm, we need to learn more about Buddhism. In other parts of the world, this has not been the best news week for men of the cloth. Some poor preacher
in Alabama
was found dead, hogtied in a wet suit, apparently done in by autoerotic
asphyxiation. Woof, enough sad tales already. Somebody throw some adorable cat
videos up into this mix.
UPDATE: It has been brought to our attention that the story about Buddhist monks is dubious, please to ignore. The cat video, however, is still gold.
