Many 20-something women fell in love with
Bill Murray in "Broken Flowers" or "Lost in Translation." But for us,
it was "Groundhog Day." We couldn't get enough of Murray's grumbly,
impatient, somewhat creepy newscaster. Needless to say, we're pretty
disappointed that not one network—not USA or TNT, or any other random
cable channel with three call letters—is showing a "Groundhog Day"
marathon.
But enough about Bill Murray. Let's focus on what this most tenuous of
holidays is all about: that little rodent who can make or break the
last weeks of winter, Punxsutawney Phil.
