I was introduced to to Poledancefan's videos by the duo over at Videogum, who had the same reaction as I did to a video of someone's dad doing his damnedest to learn how to pole dance like a stripper: You go, guy!

 

 

Now, some of you may watch this video and think that we're holding this man up to ridicule. We're not. This guy is the best, and not in an ironic, schadenfreude way. This dude seriously has 78 videos of himself, spanning back 10 months, teaching himself to pole dance in his basement. He installed the pole, put down the mats, opened himself up to ridicule by putting these videos online, and took constructive criticism from the online dancing community. Hats off to you, Poledancefan. May we all be so proactive about learning a new skill.
