On Thursday, March 19 Dave Hill and Black Rabbit Bar (Scanner Emily's former second date bar as it was four doors down from my last apartment) present Speed Dating to the Glorious Mopey Sounds of the Smiths.
It's absolutely free and on a first come, first served basis. Dating begins at 8 and they suggest arriving by 7:45 to sign up.
Black Rabbit Bar is at 91 Greenpoint Avenue between Frankin and Manhattan in glorious Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Take the G to Greenpoint Avenue and get off at the Greenpoint exit. Tell the guy sleeping on the sidewalk by the station that I said "what's up?
