We Think Your New Year's Resolution Should Be to Comment More

Posted by Emily Farris

Hey, you. Scanner Emily, here.  Now that we've put 2008 behind us, let us all resolve to communicate a little more. It's true that some of you have left such awful comments I've been up all night with anxiety. I think someone even made me cry once, many moons ago. But my skin, and the skin of my fellow bloggers, has thickened, plus I've hopefully sent enough threatening emails to the assholes to weed out the worst.

So, come, share, talk amongst yourselves. And if you see something you think we should be writing about, send us a tip

Thanks and happy new year.

You should have a price. Like a tshirt or a date with Emily, for the most comments.

Hey, I send stuff to you whenever I see something I think might be of interest.  (And I'm happily married, so promises/threats are without effect on me.)

I'm pretty sure you don't actually want to hear more from me...

Hey, Profrobert, does being happily married make one immune to semi-random blogger violence?

I was referring to the "Commenting will get you laid" concept.

Hm, and I went straight for the "threats of violence" concept. Well, says everything about the two of us, eh?
