Above is the top half of
an ad released late Thursday night by the McCain campaign. It wasn't
until Friday that someone noticed what was horribly, horribly wrong
with it. (Hint: making up quotes and then finding someone to attribute them to is beyond stupid.)
The
McCain folks were already reeling from the pre-Presidential debate they
"accidentally" released saying McCain had won the debate, which McCain
hadn't even arrived for yet. Classic.
We have to say this is way funnier...
And the final, "corrected" version, from a woman who seemed far from thrilled with McCain-Palin '08 when on Meet The Press yesterday:
