Look everybody! The Daily Mail thinks they made a funny!
In what feels like an e-mail forward straight out of 1998, the Daily Mail has put together an oh-so-original bunch of photos that apparently portray what the world would look like, were it (gasp!) run by women.
This laudable work of journalism was apparently inspired by "a report in New Scientist [claiming] that there are differences in the way
men and women's brains are wired." OK, fine - but the confusion comes with what the report discovered:
"Unsurprisingly, men think about sex,
while women devote more brain power to decision-making and emotions"
Um, Daily Mail, wouldn't that indicate that, were the world run by women, it wouldn't be all pink and silly and stiletto-filled? Since, you know, they're spending all this brain-power on, you know, important things like decision-making and, well, not sex?
Whatever, we're way too tired to get into the utter idiocy of this article, but if you're feeling a little too intellectually engaged today, feel free to mosey on over to the Daily Mail and check out some of their other works of art, including, but not limited to: a stiletto-print on the moon, a shopping mall filled with shoes, and the age-old joke of a rearview mirror the size of the entire windshield of the car. Also, bowling lanes would be pink and filled with flowers.
Oh and, Daily Mail, if you're going to claim that the aforementioned study is what "recently spawned some hilarious images on the internet" - you might want to take note of the enormous 2005 plastered across one of them, oh, and, you know, make sure they're funny.
