Obama Button Makes Us Want To Mess With Texas

Posted by Brian Fairbanks

You're gonna wanna see the rest of this Texas Republican Party State Convention pin...

The GOP really wants to make an ass of itself this year, doesn't it?

Hmmm... you don't think this will come back to bite them in the ass, come the nomination of Condi Rice for Vice President? Morons.

(And how is it that Perez Hilton, of all people, was the one to break this story nationally? What does that say about the mainstream media that this was a big deal in Texas over the weekend, but it took three days for anyone outside of the state to hear about it?)

There were other pins that weren't necessarily conveying the positive, inclusive, united front that has been portrayed during the convention. One said, "Press 1 for English. Press 2 for Deportation" and another, "I will hold my nose when I vote for McCain"

These pins sound like perfect for use in "Texas pinnings."

There seems to be scant information about this practice online (although this might provide detail: www.bearpodcast.com), but thanks to a past job working on a gay travel show, I can tell you that it involves big-hairy-gay-men trading pins while giving each other blow jobs.  Appropriate, no?

The Republicans who would support this would never support Condi as VP anyway, don't you get it? They don't want her to even be in the Cabinet. Find a few and ask them. Stupid dies hard.

Didn't Richard Pryor or Chris Rock or one of those guys tell this joke first?  I guess it wasn't racist then...

It was Bootsy Collins and P-Funk who first said it. "We gonna paint the white house black."

Only those devoid of the Funk would think there was anything wrong with that.
