Inventory I Lust After: Paper Source

I was lucky enough to swing a trip to Boston this past weekend, during which I met up with some old friends for brunchat Zaftig's in Coolidge Corner, and some browsing at the Brookline Booksmith. As if that wasn't awesome enough, we also swung by Paper Source, so that Erika could pick up some decorative paper for a lampshade decoupage project.

Others have recommended Paper Source in the past, sending along its URL, but I had never realized that it was an actual brick-and-mortar shop and, once I was in it, I never wanted to leave.

Practice Your Paradiddles at Work

I loveeee playing drums. . . at my desk. Y'see, I don't actually know how to play drums. I just take two pens and hit them on my desk for the snare and a glass for the cymbal (while tapping my foot on the floor for the bass drum). Thankfully nobody sits right next to me.

One problem though is that the cap flies off. I wouldn't need to worry about that with these:

Kama Sutra At Work

When I was a young'n, I found these cocktail picks in the kitchen. I had no idea what was on top of them until I was about 13 and saw them in the kitchen drawer again. Naturally, I brought them to school the next day and ended up getting detention for it.

Now I'm 23 years old and considering buying these Kama Sutra paper clips for work.. I doubt my bosses would find it funny, but at least I won't get sent to detention this time around.
