Pet Product: StayAway

cat-peeing

I believe I've mentioned before that my cats have a spraying problem.

I've tried everything. Nature's Miracle. Feliway. Prozac. Even cages.

Nothing worked, and it seemed I was doomed to live in a disgusting, pee-coated condo that smelled perpetually of Clorox wipes and cat urine.

Then I tried this:

stayaway

[$42, Amazon]

When I first set up the StayAway can on my kitchen counter (yes, I know; ick), I had to wave my hand it front of it a few times before it finally went off (apparently, it was "stabilizing").

When it finally beeped and sprayed, I was so taken by surprise that I actually shrieked.

The cats, meanwhile, sprinted away with their tails all poofed up.

Since then, the air has been urine-free.

In fact, I think I'm the only one who sets the damn thing off, and it startles me every time.

The only downside? The cats seem to be taking their revenge by leaving their poop uncovered.

::sigh::

I really need this. Ella Fitzgerald has been an intolerable bitch since I started working a lot more and not coming home till late. My sheets have suffered!
