How Dirty Keyboards Get Clean

While I love sharing my favorite product finds of the day with you guys, I also really love my SF Mission-style burritos. (I hear you don't have these on the East Coast, which makes me a little bit sad because really, they're the closest thing to heaven that culinary skills will ever produce.) But let's just say that blogging and burritos don't exactly mix, and I'm not too proud to admit that I've had my share of keyboard bean-and-salsa syndrome.

Meet the washable keyboard, a USB device that plugs into your computer and pops into the dishwasher.

This keyboard is completely waterproof and features all the elements of a standard desktop/laptop keyboard. Thanks to a fancy science-y waterproofing process dubbed Seal Shield™, this keyboard is also spill-proof, fully washable, and dishwasher safe. Plus, its laser-etched keys won't ever fade in the wash.

Somewhere, the god of burritos has just smiled upon me.

I need this so bad. I was just staring at my keyboard in disgust earlier today and wondering if it was time to replace it again.

You can put nearly any keyboard in the dishwasher and wash it.  I've done it with standard USB keyboards, and a Mac wireless kb.  Just let it try for a week after you wash it, and don't use detergent.
