
Today is apparently Poem in Your Pocket day, in celebration of National Poetry Month. You are to...um...carry a poem in your pocket all day long, and share it with those you come across. You can write your own (though my days of writing bad poetry are long behind me) or carry around a favorite.
I'm personally a fan of Wislawa Szymborska's poetry, and have always loved Emily Dickinson's "A word is dead/when it is said/some say./I say it just/begins to live/that day." But if you thinkyou need a little bit of help:
