What is it about retro lithographs that hits on our collective sense of national nostalgia? Actually, that's probably exactly what it is, but regardless, they're just... Cool. And these very, very NSFW retro pin-ups by Mel Ramos are a perfect example of this:

There's something about it, because of the nostalgia factor, that isn't even sexual, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it hits more on the quaint center of the brain than the hot and heavy section. Anyway, Ramos has some other great paintings, here's some of my faves:
