Just yesterday, I posted about these gorgeous, in-floor bathtubs that had gotten my heart racing.
My enthusiasm was somewhat dampened — though not completely squelched — when Shaun pointed out the possible overflow problems. I mean, it was a possibility I was willing to live with if only so I could pretend that I was constantly on vacation, with a swim-up bar and infinity-edge pool overlooking the ocean.
Then, MM reader Nikki asked whether or not it came with a cover. So that she would not fall in and drown at night. And I decided that maybe I should put my in-floor tub dreams to rest.
So I'm moving onto to freestanding tubs, and I'm especially enamored of the brightly-colored tubs available at AstonMatthews:

[$893, AstonMatthews]

[$1,543, AstonMatthews]

[$2,925, AstonMatthews]

[$1,478, AstonMatthews]

[$1,478, AstonMatthews]

[$1,251, AstonMatthews]
All exteriors are finished for painting, but I like seeing what can be accomplished with a coat of brightyly-colored paint.
