The Kindle 2 is here! Or I assume so, since I've never seen anyone actually use one, confirm ownership of one, or even talk about the possibility of getting one. Anyway, here it is in all its glory. More pictures after the jump.

I just received my Kindle2 in the mail.  It is more than I expected in many ways.  I like the look and feel of the device, and am amazed at the speed of a book download.  Perhaps most important is the look of the text and the ease of moving page to page, each of which are really nice.  The electronic ink looks very like a book, and the device will save space in my briefcase and make long flights pass more quickly.
