Winter Makes Me Homicidal

I know it's only autumn, which is my second favorite season of all, but that bite in the air makes me think of the oncoming winter, and all the attendant reasons to hate it:

  1. ice
  2. frumpy sweaters
  3. perpetually runny noses
  4. the return of my chronic sinusitis
  5. that tickle in the back of my throat
  6. darker (and shorter) days
  7. that hibernation instinct
  8. etc.

Is it any wonder I get a bit homicidal during this time of year?
