Free Stuff: Best Radio Station Ever

Posted by Alex Zalben

No morning zoo crew. No annoying commercial breaks. Not even a list of the same twenty songs playing over and over again. This is, without a doubt, the best internet radio station ever, and it's totally free:

Streaming Soundtracks, (and granted, I'm a total soundtrack junkie) plays music from movies, TV, and video games that are requested by its users; sort of like a virtual DJ. It's free to register, and when you do, you can browse the thousands of albums they have linked online to queue up whatever you might want, from The Hours, to the theme from the A-Team (this was actually played, in that order).

You can also chat with other users, and browse forums if you want to get in with that stuff. Or, just listen in iTunes, or any music program.

If you've always wondered, "Wait, what movie was that from?;" if you want to listen to something that's alternately mellow, and hilarious in its juxtaposition while you're working; and if you just like things that are free and fun, this is the radio station for you.
