I love Smart Cars because they're little and cute and, honestly, that's usually how I go about picking most new products in my life. But since I've started learning about hybrids and other environmentally friendly modes of transportation (and the Smart Car does purport to have lower emission levels), a whole new world of vehicular activism has opened up to me.

The Lumeneo Smera is a battery-operated car, still in the concept stage, but with plans for availability by October 2008. The projected price is 20-30,000 Euros.
