My boyfriend at the time bought me the soundtrack to Chicago, as a means of jumpstarting my connection with the rest of the modern world. I was quite resistant to change.
Now — though my 300-odd cassettes are still housed within the depths of my parents' garage — and can barely survive without the quick accessibility of mp3s.
