Quick Tip of the Day: Breathalyzer

How many times have you been out at a bar or party, have seen someone attractive you'd like to talk to, but weren't sure if your breath was up to the task? I mean, the only thing worse than blowing your shot by not taking a chance is blowing your shot with booze and pub grub breath. But now there's a fix for that and the bonus is, in addition to knowing whether you're fit to flirt, you'll learn whether you're fit to drive, too. Details after the jump.

The "etiquette checker" tests both the quality of your breath on a 1-6 scale (6 means don't even think about talking to that cute girl) and alcohol level in 0.5 increments (more than 0.5, get a cab!). Now all you need is something to rate your opening line...

Maybe a couple of decades ago, somebody had a bright idea to put coin operated Breathalyzer-type devices in bars, so you could check if you were safe to drive (or that was the premise, anyway).  Unfortunately, this basically just became an enabler for a drinking game ("how high can you blow"), which was probably just a wee bit counterproductive.
