We’ve got another light week at the movies, with slasher flick Prom Night, Keanu Reeves acting dirty in Training Day [co] Street Kings, and Sideways Part 2: This Time There’s No Wine. So let’s get to it, shall we, and talk about the perfect products to purchase while pursing this pieces of… cinema.
Prom Night: There’s a number of different ways you can go with this. Prom Night, is, of course, about the dresses, the limos, and the tiaras (what can I say? I used to be a girl). Or, you could talk about knife sets (hey, it’s a slasher flick). But I prefer to go with something that actually perfectly combined horror with the true love you can only get at the prom, and encourage you to pick up the “Prom Buffy & Angel” action figure set, which recreates the last season from Season 3, Episode 20. And no, I didn’t need to check anything to find out what episode this was from. Sigh.

Street Kings: In Street Kings, Keanu Reeves plays a corrupt cop who goes on a killing rampage or something. I dunknow, it’s a little hard to tell from the trailer, but I recommend you skip this movie, and save your money for ices from the Lemon Ice King of Corona. Especially now that the weather is warmer, visit the REAL Street King.

Smart People: This movie, as mentioned above, is by the same director as Sideways, the film that erroneously convinced an entire nation that Pinot Noir is the best type of wine produced. It’s not, you’re wrong, shut up. It’s a little unclear what product Smart People will push to the forefront, but its logo is made up of Scrabble pieces, so I’m going to go with that. Though I picked up a travel set this past weekend, and it rocks, I lust after the Premier Wood Scrabble Crossword Game - Luxury Edition with Rotating Board with a fiery passion. It ain’t cheap, but it’s gorgeous, made of wood, and has little drawers for storing things. And as we know, I love little drawers.
