Refurnishings and Do-it-Yourself: Foot Stool

This is both a refurnishings and a do-it-yourself post because it features a little vintage footstool in desperate need of a makeover. Won't you buy it, give it a new home and a new look by recovering it in some awesome fabric? It will so cute and be so happy! Steph suggests a couple places to find great fabric here, and I'd add to her list, Purl Soho, where I got fabric not too long ago for my own project recovering a vintage rocking chair. Just so you know, my rocking chair loves her new look (and so do I).

    Alex Zalben is a writer living in New York City. He's written for McSweeney's, Modern Humorist and PulpSecret.com. As one-fifth of the sketch comedy group Elephant Larry, he has been written up in the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, and pretty much every other major publication.
